About Fireswalker
Hello, I'm Fireswalker.
I am an individual retail investor. I have experienced significant losses in the past, but I have not given up and continue to navigate the markets. Rather than teaching others, I started this blog to record my own learning process and practical experiences. I hope my honest records can be of some help to those walking a similar path.
Topics Covered
- Market & Company Analysis — In-depth analysis of macroeconomic trends, company fundamentals, supply and demand dynamics, and other market-moving factors
- Practical Investment Records — Real-world dilemmas, reasoning behind buy/sell decisions, and retrospectives on the outcomes
- Risk Management Strategies — How to protect assets and respond effectively during market downturns and high volatility
Investment Philosophy
I do not restrict myself to either short-term or long-term investing. I simply adjust my allocations based on market conditions. I believe there are opportunities in any market, and the most important thing is selecting the right strategy for those opportunities.
Why “Fireswalker”
Firewalker— one who walks through fire. It speaks of courage and resolve. It's also FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early) + Walker — someone walking step by step toward financial freedom.
But the name carries a deeper meaning. Investing is the act of embracing risk and moving forward. Walking steadily through the flames of a market downturn without flinching — that is the investor's mindset.
You have to walk through risk to reach the destination called returns. So the important questions are always the same:
- How much risk can I bear?
- How will I manage that risk?
Once you find those answers, all that remains is disciplined execution. Rather than trying to teach others, I aim to share the honest records of an everyday retail investor asking questions and finding answers along the way. That resolve is what I wanted to capture in the name “Fireswalker.”
